2006 Range Rover HSE Luxury Pkg FULL MAINTENANCE RECORDS -

Also posted on Craigslist: http://seattle.craigslist.org/est/cto/[removed phone]XXXX.html***For immediate sale: $14,700 OBO ***Email or text me to coordinate meeting up to view/inspect/buy. We can possibly meet in Seattle/Bellevue/Lynnwood, etc, but we live in Bothell.***We are selling our 2006 L322 Range Rover HSE LUXURY PACKAGE (which includes the Cold Weather Package) in the rare "Giverny Green", with "Ivory" (cream-ish) Oxford leather interior, with "Aspen" piping. This has been a very fun, fast, and reliable vehicle, but we are stepping up to a new Range Rover (2013+) once we sell this. We are motivated to sell and would like to make the transition to our new vehicle in December. No REASONABLE offer will be refused. Please do not make me an offer until we have shaken hands and you have seen and been driven around in it. There's a lot to know and appreciate about the excellent care we've given this vehicle. Read on...***The Rover is currently at ~122,642 miles (as of today [removed phone]). We've only seen one other Rover in this color in the state, and it was a year older, with the less reliable BMW V8. What you're looking at here is a rare bird, indeed. ESPECIALLY because you're finding this rare color in such remarkable condition, and with full service/maintenance records. If you want a reliable Rover for under $20k, ours is the one you want! ***We have the CarFax report that the dealership provided to us when we bought it in November 2014, and we have all of the service records for everything done to it, since. We even have the receipts for replacing ALL of the interior and exterior lighting with CAN bus LEDs, for longevity, truer color, and brightness/intensity. It has never been in an accident of any kind. No "fender-benders", scrapes, scuffs, rear-endings, bumpings, nothing, nada, zilch. My wife opened her door into a low parking sign in Queen Anne one time, and that left a very small scratch (less than 1/4"), but it didn't go through the paint, nor dent it. ***I know not everyone is keen on tint, but it's very nicely done (by Accutint...Seattle's BEST), and has a TRANSFERABLE lifetime warranty: http://www.formulaone.com/en/ManufacturerWarranty.aspx ***If the tinted "look" is not your cup of tea, it's only about $20 per window to have it REMOVED by Accutint. For example, if you want to have a lighter tint on the front windows, they or any other tinter could remove it for $40-$50.***FYI, here's some helpful information on the Luxury Package: http://www.rangerovers.net/forum/6-range-rover-mark-iii-lXXX/XXXX-XXXX-rr-luxury-package.html***With the Luxury Package, you get the softer and more luxurious OXFORD leather seats, leather dash, extra (power) adjustments on the front seats (16-way), integrated ski bag in center of rear seat pass-through, auto-dimming exterior mirrors (to reduce glare of vehicle headlights behind you) a full leather heated steering wheel, FOUR heated seats (driver/passenger, and both rear seats), heated glass on the front windshield and rear glass windows (including the side cargo area windows, so you can see your blind spot when changing lanes during the winter months), and the self-leveling and adaptive (swivel when you turn) headlights.***Here's an excellent resource on my favorite Rover forum, for 2006 model year changes/upgrades:http://www.rangerovers.net/modelspecs/L322/2006.html***There are other comparably equipped 2006 Range Rovers listed on Craigslist for less money, but they DON'T address or advertise the most important thing when buying any used car: COMPLETE MAINTENANCE RECORDS. Every time there has been a recommendation by the Land Rover dealership (Lynnwood) or our independent mechanic (Lamorna Garage in North Seattle) for something to be taken care of, replaced, upgraded, etc, we've done just that. If you're looking at similar mid-run Range Rovers (remember, 2006 was the start of the good ones with the reliable and faster JAGUAR V8 engine), just make sure to DO YOUR RESEARCH. Then come back to this ad, and click "Reply" to email or text me, so we can take you for a test drive. You will LOVE this thing.***Some other Range Rovers you'll see for sale when shopping around on Craigslist MIGHT have 10-15k fewer miles on the odometer than ours, BUT that just means THEY'RE TRYING TO SELL IT BEFORE THE MAJOR SERVICES NEED TO BE DONE. Don't be duped! VERIFY with the sellers of other Range Rovers on Craigslist (or at dealerships) to make sure they have PROOF that they've actually done all of the required maintenance, like the fluid changes in the transmission/gearbox, differentials, power steering, etc. These things WILL fail on you if you don't proactively maintain them. ***High-resolution photos, are available for the public to view, in this OneDrive link: https://1drv.ms/f/s!AvfVixknavnPhqhgd_mnwSYLnYcVCA***There was only one factory recall on this VIN and it was taken care of by Land Rover last year (on their dime) for front brake hoses (we have the paperwork proving it was done). ***My wife and I are are those nerdy, anal-retentive people who obsessively take care of their vehicles and keep all the receipts and records and notes. We have ALL of the maintenance records from the ONLY two reputable Land Rover service garages on the west side of the state (Land Rover Seattle and Lamorna Garage). The maintenance items that we've already taken care of are critical to the longevity of any vehicle, but especially to technically capable and performance-oriented off road vehicles like L322 Range Rovers. You do NOT want to buy a Rover for a $10k-$12k "deal" (and good god, if it's a 2006 or newer for less than $10k, RUN AWAY, because they've clearly not taken care of it!) and then have a world of problems on your hands. If that "deal" Rover's unmaintained tranny or engine or differential blows up, then it's no longer a good deal. Buy from a seller who takes care of their vehicles with pride and doesn't skimp on the maintenance items than many others shrug off! If you want a reliable, WELL-MAINTAINED Rover, with full and complete service records, shoot me a text message, or email me to meet up with my wife and I for a test drive.***This HSE Luxury Package model is ALMOST fully-loaded (the 1st/original owner didn't spring for the optional DVD/movie screens in the headrests). It IS equipped with fully-functioning navigation, sunroof, leather heated seats front and rear, power everything, full tint by Accutint, a premium 725 watt Harman Kardon sound system, and much, much more. Again, all Land Rover-scheduled maintenance is up-to-date. The front and rear WIPER BLADES are even brand new, a week and a half ago (Land Rover OEM, not the O'Reilly Auto Parts knock-offs)...they are silent and extremely effective, especially in combination with my twice-monthly application of Rain-X to all of the windows and side mirrors. ***The title is still bank-owned, so the purchase transaction will involve meeting at a local BECU branch to conduct the title transfer/payoff.***This 2006 model is the first RELIABLE version of the L322 (which spans models from [removed phone]), with the 4.4-liter JAGUAR V8 engine developing 302 horsepower (@ 5,750 RPM), 20 more horsepower than the BMW (02'-'05) V-8 that it replaced. Torque is a massive 325 lbf ft (@ 4,000 RPM, which is good for a 0-60 MPH time of around 7.9 seconds - not bad for 5,600 lbs of luxury with a low-range gear box and 13" of suspension travel! This Rover also features the German-made ZF 6HP26 six-speed automatic transmission (it's buttery smooth - worth a read if you want to learn more: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ZF_6HP26_transmission)***All maintenance under our ownership was performed by either Land Rover Seattle (Lynnwood) or Gord'n Perrott @ Lamorna Garage - full records during our ownership to be provided to the new owner. My wife and I are the second owners. It has been a wonderful vehicle for us during the last 36,000 miles, but we are looking forward to taking ownership of a new Land Rover in a few weeks, and we won't have room in the family (or garage) for two SUVs. ***This gorgeous Range Rover has JUST had its 120k service ([removed phone]) by Land Rover Seattle (~$1,900) with ALL new fluids and filters (including new engine oil and filter, new transmission oil and transmission pan - with integral filter - and the new-era "data plug" and sleeve, fresh differential oil, and a complete flush and refill of the power steering fluid). This service will not need to be done again until around XXX,XXX-XXX,XXX miles, give or take (around 6-10 years from now, depending on how many miles you put on it). As previously noted, the wipers were just replaced by the dealership, and they are genuine Land Rover variety, not the O'Reilly-spec bargain bin variety. The engine coolant was flushed/replaced in the summer of 2015 (and it won't need to be done for at least another two years). If you're used to owning a Japanese car, the LONG intervals in between servicing on a modern Land Rover like this will seem odd to you, but the Land Rover-spec'd fluids are highly developed and extremely high quality (and expensive) and are designed to last for LONG intervals. Oil change intervals are 8k-12k miles, for example. NONE of the other fluids in the vehicle (except windshield washer fluid) will be due for several years.***It has newer all-terrain tires (slightly oversized 265/65R18 **about 31.5" which is 1" larger than stock circumference**), which are the Discoverer A/T3s - GREAT in the rain, dry, sand, and on gravel roads, too. Just okay in slimy mud. They have less than 25k miles on them and are notoriously long wearing. We do a 5-tire rotation with the spare, to keep the wear even. Most people using them on full-size SUVs are getting around 40-50k out of these tires, so you will not have to worry about that for at least the next two years! ***The FULL-SIZE SPARE is on a MATCHING Land Rover 18" rim in the back under the deck of the cargo compartment. These tires, while slightly oversize, do NOT rub, even when in the lowered suspension setting and hard over on the steering wheel. We have had the first two tire rotations done by Discount Tire (where we bought the tires). We will probably do a third free rotation (free rotations for the life of the tire IS transferable to new owner) before December is over, too. The rims the tires are mounted to are 18" genuine Land Rover wheels (which actually have an even higher weight rating than the stock Range Rover wheels) and no, there are no hokey shims or spacers. The stud spacing/offset are the same on several models of Land Rover wheels and hubs, so they are interchangeable. ***All interior bulbs have been replaced with high-quality CAN bus LEDs (from superbrightleds.com). Also, the side marker lights (front and rear) and the driving lamps were also replaced with LEDs. In the photos posted above, if you're paying attention, you'll notice that the front side marker lights are burned out. They've since been replaced. In fact, it was during the taking of those photos that I realized they had burned out. The fog lights are still the OEM H7 halogens, and they work great. They have a Lamin-X brand amber film to keep them from suffering a broken glass lens if a rock ever hits them.***The brakes (rotors, pads, AND the pad-wear sensors) were replaced a year ago, and aren't even half-way through their life. The only "maintenance item" outstanding is the rear camera backup module needs to be replaced for the image to show up on the screen. It's only $340 to get a new one (per the parts manager at Land Rover Seattle), we just keep putting it off because we don't care/use it. It can be replaced by an average Joe, in a few hours in the garage, or it's probably around $200 to have the shop do it. Once that is replaced, the back-up/parking sonar will work again (they just intermittently work right now). Also, there are two main cup holders in the front, and the one that "folds up" for the passenger doesn't, well, fold up anymore. It DOES WORK (in terms of holding a "Grande" sized coffee cup or 12oz can), but the FOLDING mechanism broke. It's about $150 to replace it, if you care. Those are ALL of the negatives, and obviously, none of them are critical nor affect the reliability of the vehicle, but that's why I've priced it as I have.***This Rover has been very reliable for us and will take her new owners wherever they want to go in comfort and style. There is one small nick in the passenger door (from opening it up into an unseen low parking sign in Queen Anne), and a few very minor scratches in the clearcoat from some rogue branches/bushes on a forest service road, but nothing is through the paint, and they are very hard to see unless you have just the right light and are very close. The photos I've posted are all high quality and can be blown up if you view and then download them through my OneDrive album link, here:https://1drv.ms/f/s!AvfVixknavnPhqhgd_mnwSYLnYcVCA***There is FULL tint on this vehicle - every side window was done in Llumar FormulaOne by Accutint on Airport Way in Seattle, and the windshield, tailgate/back window, and sunroof were done in Aegis by Advanced Sound and Tint in Lynnwood. BOTH HAVE LIFETIME WARRANTIES.http://www.accutint.com/services/automotive-window-tint.aspxhttp://www.advancedsoundandtint.com/window_tint*****The vehicle is very clean and has no "smells" or anything strange in the interior...no disappointments. We are a childless young couple and we vacuum the car regularly, so you won't find any cereal in between the seats. Clean, clean, clean!***We would be more than happy to take you for a test drive (while we drive you), unless you have cash in hand (in which case YOU are welcome to drive yourself).
